Our story so far...
HFLC started as a literacy and numeracy program of Humphrey Center Ministries for children and out-of-school youth in early 2000 spearheaded by Mrs. Gilda Ordillo, HFLC's beloved 'Mama Dang';
Officially founded in 2002 by Pastor John and Gilda Ordillo as Humphrey Foundation Learning Center Inc., named in honor of the late Reverend Roy Lee and Ann Humphrey, who altruistically contributed significant impact to what the school is today. HFLC opened its door to 30 students in preschool using the curriculum of the Institute for Foundational Learning for its Early Childhood Program.
In 2007, HFLC received its DepEd Recognition for the Early Childhood Program with Government Recognition P. E. NO. 071 S. 2007.
In 2010, HFLC’s Elementary Program was recognized by DepEd with Government Recognition NO. E-174 S.2010. The pioneering graduates completed their Elementary studies for School Year 2009-2010.
In 2013, Deped Recognition for Secondary Course was released with Government Recognition NO. S-025 S.2013. The pioneering graduates completed their High School education for School Year 2013-2014.
To this day, HFLC continues to open its doors to children and has honed successful, well-grounded, and independent learners over the years.
